Photographs from the Caprock Canyon area
(Texas Panhandle)

Caprock Canyon State Park is a little known, but spectacular State Park in the southern section of the Texas Panhandle. The canyons have been carved out by rivers eroding the escarpment up to the High Plains. Also, a neighbouring disused railroad bed has been converted into a long distance trail.
