Products and Services

Winwaed Software Technology LLC can supply a range of different software engineering services. However we currently offer the following specific products and product-based consultancy services:

Microsoft® MapPoint® Consultancy & Utilities

Earthquake Hazard Map, created by The Grid Imp

Aimed at business users, Microsoft's MapPoint product enables relatively simple but effective geographical information analysis, at a fraction of the cost of a major GIS system. We sell a number of plug-in tools for MapPoint, and we can also write customized utilities to meet your specific MapPoint needs.

In order to serve our Microsoft MapPoint customers better, we have created the Mapping-Tools.com website, dedicated to MapPoint tools and services.

This site includes our best selling MileCharter add-in for calculating mileage tables; and our unique GridImp plotting tool.

The site also sells a variety of other MapPoint add-in products, so you will probably find the add-in or template that meets your needs. If not, then you can hire us to write a custom solution.

We have also recently releasted our MPSuperShape add-in for shape manipulation in MapPoint. MPSuperShape will also import/export a number of file formats and create webpages of MapPoint shapes and pushpins.

The Gistix Toolkit

This is a toolkit, enabling custom PC-based GIS applications to be written. You may develop your own applications, or we can develop them for you.
Go to the Gistix Toolkit page, to find out more.

OpenOffice and StarOffice

By removing the cost of vendor lock-in and closed standards, OpenOffice and StarOffice are becoming popular replacements for Microsoft's Office suite.
Go to the OpenOffice page to find out how we can help you by porting legacy applications, and write new OpenOffice applications.

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)

SVG is vector graphics for the web. Not just another static graphics format, SVG is readily interfaced with Javascript/ECMAScript allowing a high degree of interactivity. Due to the vector nature of SVG, it is perfectly suited to deploy mapping and CAD applications over the Internet. Also, it is XML based, so XSLT can be used to convert your data into SVG graphs, maps and diagrams.
