Winwaed Software Technology LLC specialises in developing and selling geographic and scientific software. We are currently working on projects in the education and local government sectors, and have worked in the oil&gas industry.

We are physically based in the Dallas Metroplex area in Texas, but have customers in both North America and Europe.

Expertise

Although we are capable of undertaking a wide variety of projects, we have specific expertise in the following areas:

GIS Geographical Information Systems

We are the North American distributors for the Gistix Toolkit which can be used to create low-cost GIS implementations specific to your needs. Ask for a quotation for your specific needs.
We are also currently working on projects based upon Microsoft MapPoint and sell a number of MapPoint products through out Mapping-Tools.com website. These include our GridImp utility to load gridded data into MapPoint; and our MileCharter add-in to create mileage charts and tables.

Geological and Geophysical Software

To solve specific geological problems, we have created specialised tools for analysing structural geology data, and historic earthquake seismograms. In the field of exploration geophysics, we have specific experience with Interval Velocity Modelling for Pre-Stack Depth Migration (PSDM), and 4th Order Velocity Analysis.
Combined with our experience with cartography and data visualisation, we can create software to help you analyse your geological data.

Technology

Winwaed has experience with a wide variety of technology dating back to 8086 assembler programming in the early 1980s. Although this means we have experience with a wide variety of systems, we have recent experience with the following technologies:
